Welcome to ADVANCE's Health Care IT Podcast, hosted by CIO Spencer Hamons. Spencer has served in IT leadership positions ranging from the for-profit environment of Columbia/HCA, to the academic-teaching institution of The Methodist Hospital System, rural health care at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center in Colorado and now for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska. Spencer provides commentary ranging from executive management issues, emerging technology trends, and even political commentary on occasion.
